Overall purpose of the post:

We are now looking to grow our trading income to complement our traditional fundraising and to help secure our future as a leading social enterprise. Using the expertise gained from successfully developing Rafi.ki and Rafi.ki Kidogo, we have worked with a number of partner charities to create bespoke online communities which connect schools, teachers and young people globally on curriculum linked projects. Our success in developing these ‘white label’ learning communities has attracted interest from several large and high profile organisations, who want to develop and realise their own online communities with our support.

With a new version of our award-winning software recently launched, we now want to build on this service we provide to partner charities and we are recruiting a Partnerships Development Manager to lead and develop this exciting new income stream. The post-holder will work closely with the Director of Development and Director of Programmes to develop these ideas into a comprehensive business plan and then roll it out with partner charities.

The successful candidate will have an excellent aptitude for both creating and actually delivering business development strategy within a small but fast growing team. As our business is centred on online communities, ideally you will be familiar with and experienced in this area of business. You will have the ability to use your own initiative and to prioritise effectively.
