John Pepin (JPA Europe Partner – www.jpa-group.com) is based in the UK and has over 15 years as a chief executive of a variety of Canadian charities; experience as a consultant internationally including strategic and business planning; governance, enterprise development and growth, fundraising, change management, collaboration and sales; and as a facilitator, trainer, mentor, board trustee and board chair; and he has published articles and has research experience in the areas of social enterprise, governance and venture philanthropy, collaboration in the non-profit sector, and a booklet providing guidance on social enterprise.
Joe LudlowUntil recently Joe was Head of Consultancy at Camberwell – a regeneration consultancy working with charities and social enterprises on business and operational management, raising finance and managing property development projects.
He was previously Senior Investment Manager for Venturesome, a leading social investment fund where he was responsible for over £4m of risk capital investment into social enterprises and led the creation of the £2m Community Land Trust Fund.
Joe is also a Trustee of GVEP International, an organisation assisting the development of energy markets in the developing world. Joe holds a MEng from Cambridge University and MA from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College.
David French founded Convener Associates in 2009. He works internationally across the public and not-for-profit sectors having held consulting roles and been chief executive of three respected UK national organisations from 1987 to 2009: Relate, the Commonwealth Institute and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy. His specific expertise lies in working with established organisations to realign their policy and practice, achieving imaginative solutions to current challenges. Sir Mark Grundy

He has recently been appointed as a special advisor to the UK Government’s Minister of Education and is widely regarded as a visionary leader in the delivery of technology in Education. He is the Executive Principal of Shireland Collegiate Academy and George Salter Collegiate Academy.
